Church Camp-out

This past weekend was our church camp out and both Matt's and us forgot our camera's. These are cell phone pictures that give you a glimpse. Getting ready to go camping is always a big chore and coning home can be an even bigger one. I find, the older I get, the less my body enjoys it. I enjoyed our church family but mostly enjoyed watching the Brennan and Sawyer having a good time.

The boys had a lot of fun on the playground. Brennan loved sliding down the pole and he did it so much that the next morning he wondered why his arms hurt when he raised them up. Sawyer enjoyed walking back and forth on the swinging bridge with his daddy.

This is what we all wanted to do when we got home. However, this is Brennan tonight after being at home from school all day with a fever. He played sooo hard this weekend, riding bike early in the morning while it was still cold, wading into the cold water trying to catch little fish with a net and all the things little boys do. By Sunday, he was coughing and sounding hoarse and by evening he had a fever.
