It’s Spring and Matt had 50 tree’s that needed planting. With some help from Isaiah, Brennan and Grandma, Matt and Wil got them planted in two evenings.
It didn’t take Brennan long to find tree’s to climb and by the end of the 1st evening Isaiah found out that it’s best to wear long pants in the woods.
Although Isaiah was unhappy about all the scratches on his legs from planting on Monday night, he was in the woods climbing the tree and claiming it as his own, when I got home from work. On the way to El Zoritto, he told me how much he loves the woods and how relaxing it is to sit in the tree. Of course, he also had his IPod in his ear as he was sitting in the tree.
He found his mother’s sweatshirt to wear on our second night. The 1st night he wore one of Monica’s. Isaiah is quite proud of the name Westview right now.
The boys are all the happiest when they can play outside. Sawyer is getting over the Croup or he would have been out there with us.

Hopefully in years to come, there will be a few nicer tree's in the woods.

That's a lot of trees...what kind were they? About 5 yrs. ago we had over 4000 trees (they looked like sticks) planted in a field we call 'Cow Pie Hill'-named that because of the cows poop piles that were all over the hill...and in the winter they were so hard when you were sledding down the hill and you'd run over one of the piles....ouch...hence the name was born! We transformed the big hilly field into a woods! The trees are really quite tall this year. We planted hardwoods and pine trees! Good luck with the trees!
